Travel partner doll. Brasov, Romania

We spent Christmas time in one of the most beautiful cities of Romania - Brasov.
The weather was warm and sunny :) And, of course, our cat traveled with us :)

Liloo hipster cat #1. Finished and sold out :)

Being on inspiring wave I had finished my first hipster cat in the last days of 2014.

He is very serious and veeery stylish guy :)

He had found new family on the last Christmas fair.

I'm planning to make more hipster cats, of course =)

Greetings from the soviet childhood :) Wadded papier mache.

In the end of November my friend Svetlana and me
decided to try old traditional technology of making Christmas tree decoration -  wadded papier mache. I must say, it it was great experience: not so easy but exciting.
After making of different blank figures of rabbits, goats and birds (which are still not finished :) ) I got inspiration to make this toy.
This lovely boy looks like he came from my soviet past :)
I decided not to sell him and named him Sergey (my dad's name) :)

Wooden goat figures. Cute decoration.

These wooden figures were made as Christmas tree decoration or generally interior decoration.
The heigh of the figures is about 18 cm.
Each of them are painted by hands with acrylic paints.
Their main aim - to bring smile =)

Owly girl. OOAK

Owly girl is OOAK doll dedicated to one of the cutiest bird - owl :)
Her heigh is about 30 cm. The body of the doll is made of cotton.
I didn't have possibility to use sewing machine at that time (because of reparation in our home), so it is sewed by hands.
Her dress is made of 2 kinds of cotton - brown one and green one with pattern (that I really love!).
And the upper dress is knited with cotton yarn.
